CINEA Cluster Event on Aviation/Maritime Fuels and Biomethane

On Tuesday 15 October 2024, the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) will host a Cluster Event on ‘aviation/maritime fuels and biomethane’ to explore progress and future directions in these sectors.
Representatives from the European Institutions will present the latest news on European regulations in the aviation, maritime, and biomethane sectors and explain potential future funding opportunities within the current policy framework.
The meeting gathers the beneficiaries of on-going Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Actions (RIA) and Innovation Actions (IAs) projects focussed on the development of biofuels/renewable fuels and biomethane for aviation or maritime purposes.
The objectives of this workshop are:
- Provide an update on key European Commission R&I relevant policy developments in the field of biofuels, biomethane and renewable fuels.
- Identify synergies and foster collaborations & information exchange between projects.
- Agree on and plan joint communication and/or dissemination activities.
DIAMONDS4IF partners will attend the event, giving an overview on how to move from Horizon European Program to the Innovation Fund and introducing the DIAMONDS4IF strategy for selecting and supporting successful cases.
