DIAMONDS4IF at the Info Day on the EU Innovation Fund in Berlin

On January 19th, 2024, at the premises of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action of Germany (BMWK) in Berlin, as well as via a live stream, stakeholders interested in funding opportunities had the possibility to get acquired about the European Innovation Fund (IF).
Experts from the European Commission, the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA), the National Contact Point (NKS) for the EU Innovation Fund, and the BMWK presented detailed information about the application process for the IF23 Calls and the IF23 Auction. In addition to the focal points of the funding programmes, the participants received information about the support options offered by the NKS, managed on behalf of the BMWK.
During the event, participants had the opportunity to get in touch with each other and to participate in open discussions and individual counselling sessions. Experts from Meyer Burger and PNO Consultants GmbH had there the chance to explain the “Dos and Don’ts of Applying for the European Innovation Fund”.
They also presented to the auditorium the opportunities offered by the newly launched European project DIAMONDS4IF, which supports project ideas in the field of renewable energy. The high amount of feedback received indicates that the Innovation Fund is attracting significant attention and that many applicants intend to submit proposals and new innovative projects.
