PNO: Innovation Fund expert consultancy
During the last Innovation Fund (IF) round, which ended on 9 April 2024, PNO Group consultants from all over Europe collectively spent over 20,000 hours setting up and submitting Innovation Fund applications. These projects, which are divided between Energy Storage, Renewables, Energy Intensive Industries, Carbon Capture Use and Storage and Net-Zero Mobility and Buildings, have the potential to have a hugely positive impact on the climate.
PNO is very proud of this achievement, but is also looking forward to the results expected in Q4 2024, aiming for an even higher success rate than the one reached in the past rounds – which was well above European average!
With over 440 professionals, including scientists, engineers, consultants, financial and legal experts as well as a Brussels-based policy advisory service, and several years of accumulated experience, PNO Group is specialised in Funding, Innovation and Project Management services, providing support to private and public organizations in pursuing local and European subsidies and incentives for investments and innovation projects. This experience allows PNO to explore synergies between Innovation Fund and other innovation programmes, adding value beyond the statistical and strategic match that is sought by the managing authorities.
PNO Consultants GmbH, part of PNO Group, is responsible for the coordination of the EU-funded DIAMONDS4IF-project, as well as for implementing Work Packages WP2 and WP3, focusing on candidate selection, ensuring project readiness and feasibility, and guiding applicants through the preparation of IF applications.
