PNO joins the European Solar Manufacturing Council (ESMC)
PNO Innovation Germany, coordinator of the DIAMONDS4IF projects, has officially become a member of the European Solar Manufacturing Council (ESMC).
The Council represents the entire European photovoltaic value chain – from polysilicon and wafers to modules, inverters and storage – and promotes a strong European photovoltaic industry at EU level.
This new membership is already bearing fruit. On 7 October, PNO and ESMC will jointly host an exclusive webinar for ESMC members focusing on “Introduction to the Innovation Fund for PV Manufacturing Projects”. The workshop will provide practical insights into the upcoming Innovation Fund call, with a focus on the solar industry. The aim is to help European photovoltaic manufacturers better seize funding opportunities and prepare high-quality applications.
The event is part of and reinforces DIAMONDS4IF’s objectives to guide renewable energy players in accessing the Innovation Fund.
In this way, the collaboration between PNO and ESMC strengthens the reach of DIAMONDS4IF. It combines PNO’s long experience in Innovation Fund applications with ESMC’s strong industrial network, thereby multiplying the impact: better-informed applicants, stronger proposals and, ultimately, faster deployment of clean technologies across Europe.
You can also meet ESMC and a representative of PNO, in person at the BEC (Bilbao Exhibition Center), during the EU PVSEC 2025, stand B7. This Event will take place on 22–26 September in Bilbao, Spain.
The EU PVSEC is the largest international Conference for Photovoltaic research, technologies and applications and at the same time a PV Industry Exhibition, where specialised PV Industry presents technologies, innovations and new concepts in the upstream PV sector. It gathers the global PV community to present and discuss the latest developments in photovoltaics, to network and to conduct business. It is the world-renowned science-to-science and science-to-industry platform uniquely focused on the global PV Solar sector. The conference scientific programme will be coordinated by the European Commission Joint Research Centre.
