Steps forward for the DIAMONDS4IF project

The partners (PNO Consultants GmbH, RWE, RAAMS AS, Meyer Burger, Innovation Engineering) of the EU-funded DIAMONDS4IF are also making significant progress at the European level.

DIAMONDS4IF aims at developing a systematic approach for supporting selected Horizon 2020 (H2020) beneficiaries’ companies to further develop their projects and apply to ETS Innovation Fund (IF). The IF fosters low carbon processes and technologies – and many results from H2020 provide promising solutions to be deployed. One of the main outputs of DIAMONDS4IF-Project will be to generate at least five IF proposals including detailed plans for scalability, commercialisation, and financial models for submission to the IF.

To create the expected impact, to reach so many companies as possible and to generate European synergies as well as to constantly exchange information DIAMONDS4IF actively collaborates with its CSA European “sister-projects”. REALIZE (Euro-Funding), 2DPLOY (SINTEF), LEADS (CiaoTech), and H2IF (CLERENS) are funded for the same purpose as DIAMONDS4IF but focusing on further technologies and sectors, incl. CCU, hydrogen, and low carbon technologies for energy intensive industries. This big project family in close cooperation with CINEA (The European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency), will facilitate the deployment of technologies and IF proposals in the whole European tech area.

For DIAMONDS4IF we are still looking for two companies to present innovative IF-proposals. Are you interested in applying for it? Then do not hesitate to contact us!

If you have finalised or are still pursuing an EU-funded project with results that can be relevant the entire renewable sector and would like to demonstrate, upscale or implement large-scale applications, please do not hesitate to get in touch with PNO, the coordinator of DIAMONDS4IF. DIAMONDS4IF runs from January 2024 until December 2026 and covers three cycles of the Innovation Fund. This project is funded by the EC under the grant no. 101138004.
